Technical Decompression Diver
The NAUI Technical Decompression Diver course provides you with the theory, methods, and procedures of planned staged decompression diving while using optimal breathing gas mixtures.
What You Will Learn
Learn how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive to depths not exceeding 130 fsw (40 msw). Additional topics covered in your course include equipment and team requirements, NAUI Technical Equipment Configuration (NTEC), decompression breathing gas mixtures, and decompression techniques.
How Do You Get Started?
You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in a NAUI Technical Decompression Diver course. You must also be a certified NAUI Master Scuba Diver and be certified in NAUI Introduction to Technical Diving (or their equivalents), and have a minimum of 50 logged dives with at least 15 EANx dives.
